DRACULA THERAPY OR VAMPIR LIFTING
Platelet-rich plasma therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), known as ‘Vampire Therapy’, is the most modern skin regeneration solution by its own strengths. It assumes harvesting and concentrating the growth factors in the blood and reintroducing them into the skin tissue, thus stimulating cell repair and long-term neo-collagen synthesis. Initially, this treatment was used in orthopedics, reconstruction of tendons and bones after fractures, then in dentistry in gingival regeneration and in plastic surgery for scarring of burns. Blood treatment is today increasingly used throughout the world to rejuvenate the skin of the face, neck, neck and hands. This procedure is for patients who want an improvement in appearance, but do not want to inject with a chemical or artificial substance
How is the procedure performed?
A small amount of blood is harvested in a sterile tube, is rapidly processed to select platelets with cells that contain growth and repair factors. They are naturally released in any attempt of the body to repair a lesion. Plasma rich in platelets will be injected into the skin with a very fine needle after the face has been cured beforehand with an anesthetic cream. All these stages of harvesting and preparation are carried out quickly in the presence of the patient, so that he has the certainty that his own blood is administered and the whole procedure is perfectly sterile.
What are the benefits of this treatment and when are the results observed?
The treatment is ideal for: skin rejuvenation and regeneration, filling of fine wrinkles, deep wrinkle reduction, treatment of post-acne scars or scars of another nature, restoring firmness and improving the look of the face, neck, decolletage, hands. It is also one of the few therapies with spectacular effects on wrinkles around the eyes and around the mouth, scar removal. Signs of aging are gradually mitigated, 3 sessions of 3 weeks being recommended for optimum results.
Are there contraindications, risks?
The risk of immunological phenomena is completely absent, given that the body’s own product is perfectly biocompatible. There is a risk of making small bladders at the injection site (1-3 mm), which disappear within a few days, and after injection, a slight local inflammatory process (with a slightly pinkish skin on the skin) may occur. Patients should have a good health condition, not be feverish, have no coagulation disorder, autoimmune diseases.
PLASMA PLASMA PLASMA (PRP) or AUTHENTIC CELL REJUVENTION
It is a revolutionary treatment because it stimulates the ability of the body to self-regenerate and regenerate, thus leading to the formation of a more compact, firmer, younger skin.
The technique is simple, fast and safe. It consists of harvesting venous blood, which by centrifugation leads to the separation of platelets concentrated in platelets and growth factors involved in the stimulation and formation of new collagen fibers. Plasma obtained activates and is re-injected intradermally with a very fine needle after cream anesthesia.
It is a new approach that meets the needs of patients who want a natural, safe method for skin rejuvenation by autologous cells (their own).
Dracula therapy has been used since 2006 in aesthetic medicine for rejuvenation and slowing the aging process through local autologous plasma applications. Recently, RegenLab Switzerland revolutionized the method by stimulating stem cells stemming from growth factors released by their own platelets inserted into the dermis by injecting activated plasma.
Scientific studies support the use of PRP for increased volume and regeneration of hard and soft tissues. PRP is the source of the thrombocyte concentrate present in the blood. Besides engaging in blood clotting, platelets release growth factors involved in tissue self-repair, which allows the body to heal faster and more efficiently. Because autologous plasma is used, there is no risk of transmission of disease, anaphylaxis or neoplasia.
The functions of released growth factors are found in: increasing collagen production, recruiting other cells at the site of injection, initiating angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels), inducing cell differentiation, bone mineralization, extracellular matrix formation.
Studies have shown a high degree of rejuvenation in people with medium-sized photo and aging chronology. Careful selection of patients is very important and chronic skin conditions at the treatment area exclude therapy. Improvement in tone and skin texture occurs continuously within 3 weeks of injection. To consolidate the results, a second session can be performed at 4 weeks. 1-2 sessions of 3 sessions per year are recommended.
PRP therapy is one of the newest procedures used in aesthetic medicine and surgery to regenerate the skin. Now known as Vampire Lifting, the procedure involves taking a small amount of the patient’s blood into a special tube, which is then centrifuged. Finally, the activated blood platelets fraction is extracted, along with tissue growth and regeneration factors.
The treatment is ideal for: rejuvenating and regenerating the skin, diminishing fine wrinkles, filling deep wrinkles, augmenting the lips, restoring the firmness and improving the appearance of the neck, the neck, the hands, and the healing of the scars. It is also one of the few therapies with spectacular effects on the wrinkles around the eyes and around the mouth. PRP injection can also be successfully applied to resolve post-acne scars, scars after surgery, post-traumas, recent stretch marks, or chronic wounds to speed up healing.
Advantages of the method:
◦ treatment is done with local anesthesia
◦ does not require recovery time
◦ The injectable product is completely natural and safe, it does not produce allergies or side reactions from the body (being a product of its own)
◦ can be associated with other aesthetic procedures, including in combination with hyaluronic acid, to restore face volumes.
◦ Acceptable costs
Disadvantage of the method: the discomfort of a small blood harvest.
To find out if Dracula Therapy is what you need, please schedule for a consultation.
During your first visit to a clinic, you should be told what to expect from PRP Therapy. Your doctor should discuss potential treatment issues based on medical history. The practitioner must have a medical history to ensure there is no cause for concern and contraindications. Then you will be asked to read detailed information and sign a consent form, which means you understand what treatment can do, along with post-treatment indications. 10 to 20 minutes before your procedure, your doctor will harvest 10-20 ml of blood. This is done in a similar way as when taking blood for laboratory analysis. The blood will then be centrifuged to separate platelet plasma from the red blood cells using the Swiss RegenLab system. Makeup will be removed and an antiseptic will be applied to the injection site. Plasma will be injected into the skin in the desired area with a very fine needle. You will then be free to resume your daily activity. The whole procedure usually takes about 30 minutes. Effects will be seen gradually in 10-14 days.
