Fillers with Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid-based injectable fillers (injectable dermal fillers) can replace (when excessive skin aging has not occurred) or supplement plastic surgery interventions (when aging can not be corrected by injectable methods only). Therefore, depending on the age of the skin (not the biological age) it is recommended to use hyaluronic acid. Fillets are injected into the facial or constitutional wrinkles in order to smoothen them.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is an extremely important natural component of our skin. Its moisturizing and viscoelastic qualities give the face a smooth, well-defined appearance. Its quantity in the skin diminishes with aging, so the cheeks and cheeks are left, the wrinkles appear, the lather loses its oval shape, and with it the harmony of the whole girl.

Although a wide range of collagen, silicone or calcium crystals have been used in the past, they are no longer approved because the side effects were extremely common. The safest fillers are currently based on 100% hyaluronic acid, resorbable, of non-animal origin – a natural constituent of our skin. Hyaluronic acid is a substance found in almost all the cells in our body. Its main function after being injected is to retain water and increase its volume to correct a depression of the skin (wrinkles, dents).

ACID HIALURONIC

What can be corrected with a hyaluronic acid filler?

– can correct: forehead wrinkles (only in association with botulinum toxin), wrinkles between the nose and the corner of the mouth (nazo-labial or nasogenic), wrinkles perpendicular to the upper lip, wrinkles in the neck

– it can enlarge: cheeks, lips or oval of the face, the mandibular line can be reconstituted, the tears or tears can be filled, non-invasive rhinoplasty can be performed (raising the tip or correcting the profile)

What is the consultation?

To help the patient understand the competing procedure and the healing phases, Aesthetica recommends a consultation in which the pacette will compile a health record, it will be presented with all the details of its specific case since each individual has unique characteristics that the doctor will should be taken into account during treatment.

In order to ease the consultation, ask patients to come up with an ID, if there is a previous history of hyaluronic acid treatments, it is advisable for the patient to submit to the consultation the previously labeled solution label (the injected product has 2 labels traceability, one for the doctor and one for the patient). The consultation takes about 15 minutes, please schedule your phone a few days ahead to avoid unnecessary roads.

What is the procedure?

Treatment can be done during the first consultation if the patient wants to follow the hyaluronic acid injection procedure. The treatment lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, and the effects are immediately visible (70%) even if the final result (100%) occurs after about two weeks (time required for hyaluronic acid to retain water and increase volume).

After several days of injection, the areas are more swollen than the final effect, hurrying to sit down within 2 weeks. There is also the risk that after the intervention, small bruises may appear in the injected areas, starting from the next day, they will be able to cover with a foundation. These normal healing reactions are usually present for 2-3 days and do not constitute an impediment to continued normal daily activities.

Considered an extremely safe workmanship, hyaluronic acid injection does not require allergic testing because the substance is a natural constituent of the skin.

How is the effect of premium hyaluronic acid?

Normally, the result lasts between 6 and 12 months, as a result of the premium injected product, the patient’s body: rate of metabolism, face mimic, genetic features, hygiene of life (exposure to ultra violet and pollution, smoking, stress exposure, hormonal disturbances, general illness, physical activity, diet).

A MAJOR BENEFIT: The effect of premium hyaluronic acid is cumulative over time meaning that from one injection to another you are getting more and more (from a minimum of 6 months on the first injection as the repeat can last up to 2 years )

What happens after the effect goes?

With the passing of time, besides the appearance of wrinkles, there is a change in the volumetric texture of the facial details (the circles appear, the cheeks diminish, the lips become invasive). Filling of wrinkles not only rebuilds the face volume but also maintains facial tissues more firmly. As AH is metabolized, it breaks into water molecules and moisturizes the skin. There are no side effects in the case of premium hyaluronic acid injections (areas are not left but on the contrary they are more firmly hydrated, the quality of the tissue is greatly improved). After the complete transformation of hyaluronic acid, wrinkles return to their original shape.

Is it a painful procedure?

The procedure is not painful for 2 reasons:

– Most AHP fillers contain anesthetic in the interior

– Anesthetic cream that produces complete desensitization can be applied to sensitive patients

Preparing the patient

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are not recommended for pregnant or nursing women, or for people with autoimmune diseases or other diseases that affect the immune system.

A few days before and after treatment, antibiotic / anti-inflammatory pills (pain and cold pills and flu pills) are forbidden. Also, about a week prior to supplementing with vitamin C, E, ginkobiloba or other homeopathic combinations that may increase bleeding during surgery, should be stopped.

Areas do not touch and do not make up for several hours after injection. It is recommended to apply a special cream and ice several hours after injection.

It is strictly forbidden exposure to sun, sun, strong heat, exercise a few days after treatment.

The patient will need to help install the effect with a light massage for a few days.

It is very important to hydrate the patient with min. 2.5 liters of water per day during the solution period (two weeks). Persons with capillary fragility (who swear quickly) should consider the healing period of at least a week to 10 days, during which normal work may continue, but it is preferable not to have important events planned (weddings, baptisms, etc …).

Side effects

As long as patients comply with the pre and post injection guidelines, the risks are minimal. We strongly advise patients to adhere to a few rules both before and after: the patient is not allowed to reach places injected with dirty hands or rubbing for several hours, is prohibited from consuming prohibited drugs or doing prohibited activities.

The quality of the solution is extremely important, therefore we only inject AHP in optimal conditions: products within warranty, stored at optimum temperature, injected under maximum hygiene conditions. We do all these things to minimize the risk of nodules, cysts, fibrosis, necrosis, abscesses.

Reactions are usually minor (2-5 days), but patients who do not strictly follow the doctor’s instructions may prolong significantly (7-14 days):

– edema (usually 2-3 days after),

– bruising (bruising disappearing in 3-5 days)

– haematomas (disappearing in 7-10 days)

These normal healing reactions are usually present for several days and do not constitute an impediment to continuing normal daily activities. There is no need to take your days off work.

To help you achieve the desired effect, Aesthetica recommends controls 2 weeks after the treatment. Then you will be given additional tips and guidance, if necessary we will do the massage of the areas together, we will answer any questions.

What is the price of hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid comes pre-filled in ampoules usable in one person. We are very fond of the health of our patients so that in our clinics the vials unfurl in front of the patient then I give him the traceability label of the solution injected into a small passport of beauty.

One vial is injected from a vial because it is a bleeding workmanship, when injected, the external walls of the ampoule are contaminated and can be transmitted from one patient to another, even if the needle changes (even if the patients are doing their own bloodstream before injection and these are within normal limits, there is a risk of contamination because there are diseases that cause changes in blood markers only 6 months after the infection). For this reason, do not inject the same ampoule from mother and daughter.

There are over 200 manufacturers of hyaluronic acid on the international market but there are only three solutions in the premium range (the only hyaluronic acid approved – last generation) that does not cause side effects: allergies, nodules, cysts, tumors, abscesses, necrosis.

The ampoule prices (1ml) of premium hyaluronic acid range are between 250-350 euro depending on the manufacturer. The payment is made in full at the NBR exchange rate: cash or card.

During the consultation you will be given a detailed explanation of the differences between the products, the necessary quantities and depending on the area, and the desired effect will be decided.

AESTHETICS RECOMMEND A MORE NATURAL ASPECT. The final effect must be: a more rested, bright, young girl, not at all crisp, rigid, immobile.
